Canada and reading...
It's been a long time since I have had a chance to write on the blog. It's been a busy time both at work and play! Workwise, I am about to move into a systems designer role in September, and I have three projects on the go from this website. One of these is my own, as I am a bit of an artist on the sly, and it's time to get my genuis out there!
At play, I have had a trip to Canada since I last wrote which was fantastic - everyone says this and it is true. Had a great time in Vancouver browsing all the Indian Art exhibits - it gave me an idea for a new painting in fact. The other two things worthy of mention from my travels was the NATURAL hot springs and Lake Louise - kayaking was superb!
All of these things meant I returned to a backlog of .net magazines, so I have been busy catching up on what is going on in the web world. Keeping an eye out for new gadgets, I am going to be retuning my home page to NetVibes and I have at last got myself on FaceBook which actually the type of social net-working that appeals to me!
It won't replace conversation though in my book. Finally, I plan to upgrade this blog to allow interactivity with my audience. Probably something I should have originally done, and I have a few other things planned for the site too - so watch this space! (Note this is now done! - February 2008)
Until next time, ciao!
